Keep Growing

It fascinates me how some people are confident enough in themselves to know that they do not need to keep learning and growing.

Or, perhaps I am just different.

I am learning and constantly reminding myself that everyone is different and therefore, will not think the way I think or value what I value.

It is still a challenge for me.

Why?  Because there is a side of me that wishes I have their confidence and self-belief.  I still sit and listen to my yoga teachers and think that I what I know is just a tiny drop in their ocean of knowledge.

Yes, I do realise that I know a whole lot of what I do know.  I have a masters degree in Exercise Physiology.  I am a certified in NLP to Train the Trainers. I am an international master trainer for Les Mills International. I have a whole list of fitness and sport coaching qualifications, and a bunch of other training courses that I have been on.

And yet, I feel I know nothing and believe what Shunryu Suzuki says, “If your mind is empty, it is ready for anything. In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities; in the expert’s mind there are few.”

And I wish that everyone believes the same.

But, everyone is different and they are on their own path.

So, I breathe and remind myself that I am on my own journey.

I can tap into the kind of confidence that these other people have and yet stay true to me.

I believe in constant growth, because otherwise, I believe we stagnate or even die.  I believe that if the human race has the same value, we would keep growing and there will be peace.

I have been very fortunate on my Les Mills journey to be surrounded by other Trainers and Presenters who believe in constant growth, and that is why I am still proud to be working with them.

I have had the pleasure of working with other Network Marketing Professionals who also believe in the same.

I have faith that one day, more people minds will be open to that same belief.

Till then, I keep breathing.

In a world that moving at a tremendous pace, some of us are striving to peel back the layers and be in the moment. I believe that we are here to share, to grow, to evolve and to leave the world a better place than that we were born into. Whilst we are busy being diverse human beings, we can still remain humans being, and more importantly, that we live our kind of lives.
